Mike Wilson is a Shareholder at Munck Carter, and is a member of the Firm's Litigation section.

Mr. Wilson has more than 16 years experience in all aspects of litigation, including trials, arbitration, mediation and appeals. Mr. Wilson focuses his practice exclusively on commercial disputes, representing a wide range of clients from individuals and small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. He has experience with matters relating to, among other things, intellectual property/patents, business insurance, commercial contracts, catastrophic property losses/subrogation, construction disputes, product liability and business torts.

In addition to Texas and the Southwest, Mr. Wilson has handled litigation matters throughout the country, including multi-million dollar disputes in states such as Ohio, Wisconsin, Florida, Connecticut and New York .

Representative Experience:

• Representation of international company and patentee in patent infringement suit involving pharmaceutical formulation patent.
• Representation of major manufacturer and patentee in infringement suit involving machine invention. Case resolved with acquisition of infringing defendant.
• Representation of developer and insurer in multi-million dollar construction defect dispute involving development of retirement communities in New England.
• Representation of national marketing company in defamation and trademark infringement matter against Paramount Pictures. After two successful appeals to the Texas Supreme Court, the parties reached a confidential settlement.
• Obtained declaratory judgment in multi-million dollar dispute involving high-rise condominium development in Houston, Texas.
• Representation of corporate policyholder in insurance coverage dispute regarding insurers' refusal to defend a series of lawsuits alleging trademark and trade dress infringement.
• Representation of corporate client in multi-million dollar suit against court-appointed receiver for negligence, breach of fiduciary duties and waste of receivership assets. Case settled for confidential amount.
